Directors

Muchadeyi Masunda holds a Bachelor of Law (Honours) degree and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has worked for the Bulawayo City Council, Anglo-American Corporation of South Africa and has been a partner of Gill, Godlonton and Gerrans Legal Practitioners in his career, and was Managing Director of Duly’s. He is currently the Chairman of the Commercial Arbitration Centre in Harare. He sits on the boards of various private and public companies.

Tim Cameron is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries. He joined Meikles Stores in 1971 after seven years with Greatermans in South Africa and, as Group Merchandise Manager, organised central buying systems in 1982. Tim was General Manager of Barbours before his appointment as Chief Executive of the department stores group in 1990.

Tim was co-opted to the KML board in 2009.

Roy Meiring holds an American Hotel and Motel Association Diploma and is a Fellow of the Hotel Catering Institute Management Association. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Meikles Hotel Division in 1992, having previously been Group Managing Director of Cresta Hotels and Safaris (TA Holdings) in Zimbabwe and Botswana.

Roy was co-opted to the KML board in 2009.

Andrew Mills joined Tanganda in 1994 as General Manager of the Beverage Division and took over as the Managing Director of Tanganda in late 2003. Andy has worked in the sales and marketing management in the United Kingdom. He holds an Honours degree in Business Studies and an MBA.

Andrew was co-opted to the KML board in 2009.

Rugare Chidembo has a Masters in Business Administration (“MBA”) and a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Zimbabwe. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant (Zimbabwe) in 1985 having served his articles with Deloitte & Touche. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer and main consultant of Crany Business Development (Pty) Limited, a South African consultancy firm. He is also a board member of Econet Wireless Holdings Zimbabwe. He has held several management positions within the Econet group including, Chief Operating Officer of Econet Wireless International, Managing Director Econet Wireless (Private) Limited and Finance Director Econet Wireless (Private) Limited.

John is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. He holds a Masters of Business Administration Degree from the University of Cape Town. John joined Meikles Consolidated Holdings in 1970.

Dennis Stephens holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Rhodes University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries. He joined the group in 1955 and his career was mainly in the retail division. He was the Meikles Consolidated Holdings Retail Chief Executive from 1982 to 1987. He is also a director of Central African Building Society.
