Len Hall, Vice President of Media Relations

Len Hall is Vice President of Media Relations at Allen & Caron Inc. He is headquartered in the firm's Irvine, CA office and leads the development and execution of media relations programs for our clients. His experience as an award-winning print media journalist helps him create and maintain strong relationships with editors, reporters, bloggers and broadcast producers nationwide. He is also the chief media contact for our clients.

Hall helps plan and develop client news, product features and media relations programs and has built the firm's media relations team, now consisting of five media professionals. Hall’s news writing background and corporate experience helps him craft effective press releases and media pitches. He has worked on national and international media campaigns for a variety of clients and has helped clients place stories at all levels of broadcast, print, wire service and online media.

He has been an editor, columnist and reporter covering a variety of beats, has worked in public affairs and has served as media spokesman for a Fortune 200 company in a large metropolitan market. For three years prior to coming to Allen & Caron, Hall worked for PacifiCare Health Systems, one of the nation's largest health maintenance organizations, and Tenet Healthcare, the nation's second largest hospital chain. He is also a former associate director of public affairs for CalOPTIMA, an Orange County, CA government agency that administers health care to more than 200,000 Medicaid beneficiaries.

Hall is a former staff writer for the Los Angeles Times, where he covered politics, local government, education and the environment. He wrote more than 3,000 news stories for the Times on subjects including schools, crime and local personalities and compiled a popular weekly political column. He won a Times editorial award for his political coverage.

Hall graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in psychology.
