Regis is a growth company that has expanded profitably several times over since 1994. Our long-term strategy continues to be building a portfolio of concepts through acquisition, new construction, franchising and strategic partnering.

Our North American company-owned and franchised salons operate in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, primarily under the trade names of Regis Salons, MasterCuts and SmartStyle, including the most recognized salon franchise concepts - Supercuts and Cost Cutters in the United States and First Choice Haircutters in Canada.

Our international salons have historically been comprised of company-owned and franchise salons operating in countries throughout Europe. While we continue to own and operate salons in the United Kingdom, the Company merged its continental European franchise salon operations with the Franck Provost Salon Group, during fiscal year 2008. This strategic partnership created Provalliance - the largest hair salon company in Europe. Regis now has a 30% ownership interest in this much larger salon company, providing for significant future growth opportunities.

With our expansion into hair restoration in December 2004, we own the largest U.S. provider of hair loss solutions, Hair Club for Men and Women. This segment, with 95 locations, is a highly profitable business that fits well with our time-tested salon business model.

In its other strategic partnerships, Regis maintains ownership interests in Empire Education Group, Inc. and the MY Style concepts in Japan.

System-wide, our concepts are located in the U.S. and in over 30 other countries in North America, South America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

Regis is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota and its common stock is traded on the NYSE under the symbol RGS.
